Our mission

Enthusiasts serving enthusiasts.

Uniting the fragmented world of performance boating into a thriving, informed, interconnected community since 2010.

Founded by Chris Boyd

Preserve the history. Build the future.

BoatStars is an independent performance-boating and powerboat-racing platform founded in 2010. What began as a community and media project grew into a recognized gathering place for racers, race teams, builders, manufacturers, clubs, event organizers, fans, and performance-boat owners.

BoatStars connects offshore powerboat racing with the wider performance-boating world through event discovery, practical tools, education, industry knowledge, social news, racing heritage, and community storytelling.

Now housed under BlackLabel Labs Inc., the brand is building a modern resource for people who want to understand the boats, find the events, follow the teams, preserve the sport’s history, and participate in the culture surrounding high-performance powerboats.
